Rental Terms

Terms & Conditions for venue rental at Digital Jungle SF.

Booking Confirmation and Acceptance

  • A booking is not confirmed until payment is received in full or as specified on the invoice.
  • Payment of the invoice constitutes confirmation of the booking and acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

Payment Terms

  • 100% upfront at closing — 7 days hold.
  • Payment by card is subject to a 3% credit card fee.

Cancellation Policy

  • Up to 30 days prior to the event — 100% reimbursement.
  • 30 days to 15 days prior to the event — 50% reimbursement.
  • 15 days or less prior to the event — no reimbursement.

Rental Period

  • The rental period includes setup, event time, and breakdown.
  • Any use of the venue beyond the agreed rental time will result in additional charges, billed at the applicable hourly rate.

Deliveries and Load In

  • All deliveries, load in, and load out must occur within 24 hours of the rental period unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Deliveries or equipment remaining outside this window may incur additional fees.

Layout and Reset

  • The venue is delivered with a predefined layout.
  • The client is responsible for returning the space to its original layout at the end of the rental.
  • If the venue team is requested to modify or reset the layout, additional charges will apply.

Capacity

  • The client agrees to remain within the maximum occupancy and capacity agreed upon at booking.
  • Exceeding capacity may result in event interruption or additional staffing charges.

Catering

Clients may bring their own caterer unless otherwise specified. In such cases, the client is fully responsible for:

  • Food service and staffing
  • Cleanup
  • Compliance with all health and safety regulations

Sales tax will be applied to catered items when required by law.

Overtime and Additional Charges

Any overtime, additional services, staffing, or usage beyond the agreed scope will be billed accordingly.

Damage and Responsibility

The client is responsible for any damage to the venue, furniture, equipment, or property caused by the client, attendees, vendors, or contractors, beyond normal wear and tear.

Photography and Media

  • The venue may take photos or videos of the space during the event for marketing or social media purposes.
  • The venue may use the event as a reference and promote the content on its social media channels, always with a mention of the client, unless the client expresses otherwise in writing.
  • If the client does not consent to this usage, they must notify the venue in writing prior to the event.
  • Failure to notify will be considered acceptance.

Insurance

The venue may require proof of event insurance depending on the nature of the event.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of California.
